The challenge
Learnova is a fictional edtech start-up. Students already had answer apps; what they lacked was someone patient to explain why, at 11 PM, in the language they think in.
Our approach
A Socratic tutor that asks before it tells. It gives a hint, then a stronger hint, then a worked example, and only then the answer. Students can type, snap a photo or simply ask out loud.
The solution
A cross-platform app where Claude, with careful guardrails, drives the tutoring logic, plus a voice mode for spoken doubts. Every session is mapped to syllabus topics, so weak areas surface automatically in a weekly report for students and parents.
Projected impact
Design targets, not client results: more time spent reasoning than copying, measurable topic mastery, and parents who can see progress.
